Lake Texoma Striper Guides are numerous in count. However Hooked on Rods Captain Rodney St.John takes pride in his fishing services. Captain Rodney St. John has grown up on Lake Texoma and is proud to be raising his family on the lake as well. With over 30 years fishing Lake Texoma  for striper and catfish, he decided in 2008 to take his fishing passion to the next level. Hints the creation of Hooked on Rods Guide Services. Since that time he has been an outfitter that has been blessed to turn his passion into a successful business providing memories and excitement of a life time to other families, corporate groups, individuals, ladies groups and bachelor parties for the last 10 years.

In 2015 Captain Rodney ordered his dream boat a custom Blazer Bay powered with a 300 HP Yamaha fitted with the latest equipment that comfortably seats 6 Anglers. He prides himself in providing his boat Anglers with quality tackle and methods to put the big fish in the boat nets! We look forward to showing you What it feels like to have HOOKED Fish. Hooked on Rods has one of the best deck hands on the lake. captain Rodney’s son, Wade St.John has gone from being on the boat in a car seat to fishing along side his dad. You know you have one of the best deck hands swamping for you when other guides are trying to steal him away.

Captain Rodney St.John owner of Hooked on Rods Striper Guide Service will put your group, large or small on trophy Striper!  Corporate Groups, Family Outings, Business Trips, no groups are too small or large!  We will create a Lake Texoma Striper Trip around your needs. We are not a one size fits all guide service. We may cast artificial lures, slabs, troll or fish live bait to match what the fish are currently biting on.
